Tools for Field Testing TTYs with Wireless Telephones – Version 1.2

2. Click on BROWSE at the top and locate the script file. Click on VIEW FILE to verify.

Be sure that both computers are using the same script file.

3. Choose the location where you would like to save the captured data file. The file name

path will be displayed under the box.

4. Enter a unique identifying text string (up to 8 characters) for the computer you are using.

5. The system will name the file [Date-Time-ComputerID].txt.

Landline Side Procedure:

1. Synchronize the clock settings for the mobile and landline PCs. The time setting will be

used to automatically name the data files.

2. Connect the landline TTY to both the phone and the laptop. Refer to the Instructions for

Equipment Set-Up if necessary.

3. Double click on the TTYcapture.exe file to launch the program.

CONDITIONS SCREEN

1. Click on the CONDITIONS button. The following screen will appear:
